    About Menorah Manor Toby Weinman Assisted Living

    The Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence is the only Jewish Assisted Living Residence in southern Pinellas County. The Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence serves people of all faiths. Located on the Menorah Manor campus in St. Petersburg, the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence provides its residents with an enriching lifestyle that promotes overall physical, intellectual and emotional well-being. Our focus is on providing carefree living and giving residents the freedom to engage in daily programs and activities that enhance their lives, improve their spirits and lead to a relaxed and truly satisfying lifestyle.

    Toby Weinman is specifically designed to meet the needs of the senior community, providing the best possible care and support in a comfortable and secure environment. Residents can enjoy their independence, while taking comfort in the knowledge that health and wellness services are available if needed. Since its opening in 2003, the Toby Weinman Residence has maintained the mission of Menorah Manor and has routinely received deficiency free surveys from the AHCA. In its most recent satisfaction survey in January 2019, the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence received a 97% overall satisfaction score. The Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence sends satisfaction surveys twice a year, in January and July, to learn how it can better serve residents and their family members.

    The Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center has been providing care for the seniors on Florida’s Gulf Coast since 1985. Nursing care at the Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center at Menorah Manor is thorough and attentive. With a mission to provide the best possible care in a warm, homelike setting, our staff is dedicated to resident care. Our interdisciplinary team's focus is to provide person-centered care and it is exhibited in all that we do. The center is located in a wooded, residential setting, and it offers private and semi private rooms. Our therapeutic recreation program tailors its activities to the interest of our residents. In our most recent satisfaction survey in January 2020, the Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center received a 90% overall satisfaction score. Menorah Manor sends satisfaction surveys twice a year, in January and July, to learn how it can better serve residents and their family members.

    A full time chaplain is available to residents and families, with the emphasis on treating the whole person. All Jewish holidays are observed with services in our synagogue and special holiday dinners. Kashrut is observed. The Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center residents benefit from comprehensive nursing, medical and rehabilitation programs.

    The Neshama Program, offered on-site at the Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center, is a specialized approach that offers a series of end of life care services and amenities to enhance comfort for residents and their families. The program includes private suite accommodations, palliative care and comfort measures, hospice support, aromatherapy, and spiritual care and grief counseling.     A broad spectrum of on-site medical services is overseen by our chief medical officer, Dr. David LeVine. Dr. LeVine, a board certified geriatrician, was named 2016 Medical Director of the Year by The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
